Tan Sri Abd Rahim Mohamad
Tan Sri Abd Rahim Mohamad, Malaysian, Malaysian, aged 61, the Executive Chairman of EDEN since 18 October 2002, graduated from University Malaya with B.A.(Hons), then went on to do his Advanced Studies in Economics at University of Manchester, and later earned an MBA in Finance from Morehead State University, Kentucky. He later attended Wharton’s Advance Management Course for Overseas Bankers.
Tan Sri Abd Rahim Mohamad has extensive experience in various government ministries. As an Administrative and Diplomatic Service Officer, he served in various capacities in the Prime Minister’s Department, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Primary Industries and Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sports. He left the public sector in 1984 to join Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad. He also served in Shapadu Group and Maju Holdings. In 1992 he set up Zil Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. where he is also the Executive Chairman.

Puan Sri Fadzilah Md Ariff, Malaysian, aged 57, was appointed Executive Director of EDEN on 18 October 2002. She graduated with an Honours Degree in English from University of Malaya and went on to complete her Masters in Language and Linguistics at the University of York, England.
She was a lecturer at University of Technology Malaysia and later University Malaya before joining Zil Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. as its Managing Director in 1992. |

Dato’ Mohamed Salleh Bajuri, Malaysian, aged 59, is a Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of EDEN since 11 April 2002. A Chartered Accountant and Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”), he was the Senior Auditor with Messrs. Peat Marwick & Co before he joined Mayban Finance Berhad as a Manager in 1979. In 1982 he was promoted as General Manager and from 1988 to 1992 he served Malayan Banking Berhad as a General Manager. After that he joined JB Securities Sdn. Bhd. as its Managing Director and in 1995 joined CRSC Holdings Berhad as the Executive Director.
Between 1982 and 1987, he was Alternate Chairman of the Association of Finance Companies in Malaysia (“AFCM”) and was Chairman of AFCM Committees for Education and Public Relations. From 1997 to 1999, he was a Director of Saham Sabah Berhad and was one of the trustees for Yayasan Kebajikan SDARA and also Tabung Melayu Pontian Sdn. Bhd.
Dato’ Mohamed Salleh Bajuri is also a Director of Asian Pac Holdings Berhad, Harbour Link Group Berhad, LKT Industrial Berhad and Milux Corporation Berhad. He is also the Chairman of Agro Bank Malaysia (formerly known as Bank Pertanian Malaysia). |

Tan Sri Sabbaruddin Chik, Malaysian, aged 69 is an Independent Non-Executive Director of EDEN since 20 November 2002. He graduated from University of Malaya with B.A.(Hons). He later obtained his Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Institute of Social Studies, The Hague Holland.
He joined the public sector in 1966 as Assistant State Secretary of Negeri Sembilan before he became the Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1967 he became the Second Secretary at the Malaysian Embassy in Saigon and later as the Charge d’ Affairs. He was later posted as the Principal Assistant Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Department from 1971 to 1975. From 1975 to 1976, he was posted to the Socio-Economic Planning Unit as a Director of Planning and later moved on to become the International Trade Division Director in the Ministry of Trade and Industry until 1979. In 1980 he was made the Deputy State Secretary of Selangor and in 1981 he joined Pernas Trading Sdn. Bhd. as the Senior General Manager. Tan Sri was appointed as Deputy Minister of Finance in 1982 and appointed as the Minister of Culture, Arts and Tourism from 1987 to 1999. He was also the Member of Parliament for Temerloh from 1982 to 1999. Tan Sri Sabbaruddin Chik is also a Director of Priceworth Wood Products Berhad. |

Dato’ Ghazali Mat Ariff, Malaysian, aged 69, is a Non-Independent and a Non-Executive Director of EDEN since 18 October 2002. He is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. He attended the Council of Legal Education (London) and qualified as Barrister-At-Law and was called to the English Bar on 21 November 1978. He was admitted as Advocate and Solicitor at the High Court Malaya on 27 September 1979.
He started his career as a college trained teacher at Sekolah Menengah Chung Hwa Confucian, Jalan Maxwell, Penang from 1962 to 1968 before taking up appointment as a lecturer at Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Teachers’ College, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam from 1968 to 1974. He then left for London to read law in 1974, after which he joined Messrs Nik Hussain Ibrahim & Abdullah as a Legal Assistant and in 1980, he left the firm to set up his own practice under the name and style of Messrs Ghazali Ariff & Partners of which he is the Senior Partner of the firm.
He is also a Director of Advanced Packaging Technology (M) Berhad and a Director of Amalgamated Industrial Steel Berhad, both companies are listed on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. In Advanced Packaging Technology (M) Berhad; he is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee. In Amalgamated Industrial Steel Berhad, Dato’ Ghazali also serves as a Chairman to the Remuneration Committee and Employees’ Share Option Scheme Committee. |

Fakhri Yassin Bin Mahiaddin, Malaysian, aged 35, a Non-Independent and a Non-Executive Director of EDEN since 8 August 2007 graduated from Queen Mary College, University of London, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Science (Econs) Degree in Business Economics.
He is currently a Group Managing Director of Ketapang Capital Sdn. Bhd., an investment holding company of the Ketapang Group. Prior to establishing Ketapang, he commenced his career as an Investment Analyst with Hwang-DBS Securities Bhd. He subsequently joined Trisilco Folec Sdn. Bhd. in 2000, an information technology and telecommunications company, where he was mainly involved in the areas of business strategy and business development. He later served as a Board member of Trisilco until 2003. He had joined the Board of Time Era Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Eden Inc. Berhad since 1 September 2004.

Tuan Haji Md Fauzi Said, Malaysian, aged 57, an Independent Non-Executive Director since 11 April 2002 graduated with B.A. (Hons) University of Malaya and MSc Economics from the University of London.
He is Executive Chairman of VE Web Sdn. Bhd., a company specialising in Broadband Internet Access. At the same time, he is a Corporate Advisor to MI Engineering Sdn. Bhd., e-Profiles Sdn. Bhd. and Medixs Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President, Group Human Resource Management at Telekom Malaysia Berhad. He worked at Guinness Malaysia from May 1975 to December 1981 and from 1984 to 1987 at Amanah-Chase Merchant Bank Berhad. He went on to serve United Malayan Banking Corporation from 1988 to 1993 and then from 1993 to 1997 at KTM Berhad as Director of Human Resources. Subsequently he served KUB Malaysia Berhad as Group General Manager. |
